In the period from October 1 to December 31, 2025, Turkiye recorded the full use of quotas for steel exports to the EU in six product categories. The greatest use was noted in the production of high-strength and hollow profiles.

According to data collected by SteelRadar from the European Commission, Turkiye has fully utilized its quotas for the production of 16,048 tons of organic coated sheets, 479,925 tons of HRC, 100,456 tons of hollow profiles, 38,882 tons of welded pipes (other welded joints), 15,246 tons of large-size welded pipes and 96,390 tons of stainless steel. fittings.

During the final quota period this year, Turkiye fully utilized most of its product quotas for the first time in recent years.

Thanks to these products, Turkiye has achieved 100% utilization in a total of five categories. In addition, the company used 99.9% of its quota for the production of wire rod in the amount of 120,200 tons, 86.4% of its quota for the production of long bars and light profiles in the amount of 111,166 tons, 58.6% of its quota for the production of stainless steel in the amount of 22,184 tons, 50.4% of its quota for the production of long bars and light profiles in the amount of 53,767 tons (other categories), and 44.3% of its quota of 1,683 tons of railway materials

Among other countries, China has fully utilized its quotas for the supply of 129,758 tons of 4B metal-coated sheets, 5,019 tons of HR quarto stainless steel, 143,225 tons of long products and light profiles, 7,148 tons of sheet piles, 39,196 tons of seamless pipes (others) and 8,243 tons of welded pipes. (other). India has fully utilized its quotas for the supply of 80,249 tons of organically coated sheets, 32,403 tons of long products made of stainless steel and light profiles, 6,004 tons of seamless stainless pipes and 304,720 tons of HRC. South Korea, also among the countries that have reached full capacity utilization, has fully utilized its quota of 37,973 tons for grade 4A metal-coated sheets and a quota of 72,527 tons for organic-coated sheets, while Taiwan has fully utilized its quotas of 23,244 tons of organic-coated sheets and 29,716 tons of hollow profiles.
