INTERSTATE STANDARD
HOT ROLLED STEEL HEXAGONAL
Range
INTERSTATE STANDARD
Date of introduction 01.01.90
1. This standard applies to hot-rolled steel hexagonal section with inscribed circle diameter a from 8 to 100 mm.
2. According to the rolling accuracy, rolled products are produced:
B - increased accuracy;
B - normal accuracy.
3. The diameters of the inscribed circle of rental, the maximum deviations for them, the cross-sectional area and the mass of 1 m of length must correspond to those indicated in the drawing and in table. 1.
Table 1
4. Rolled products are made in bars. By agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer, rolled products are produced in coils.
5. Rolled products are manufactured in lengths from 2 to 6 m:
measured length;
multiple measured length;
unmeasured.
At the request of the consumer, rolled products are made in lengths from 1.5 to 12 m.
6. Limit deviations along the length of a measured or multiple measured length should not exceed:
+30 mm - up to 4 m;
+50 mm - with a length of St. 4 to 6 m;
+70 mm - over 6 m.
At the request of the consumer +40 mm - for rolled products with a length of St. 4 to 7 m;
+5 mm for each meter of length over 7 m.
7. The difference in dimensions between parallel edges ( a ) of rolled products in the same section should not exceed 75% of the sum of the maximum deviations.
At the request of the consumer, the difference between the edges ( a ) in the same section of rolled products of normal accuracy should not exceed 70% of the sum of the maximum deviations for rolled products with dimensions up to 32 mm inclusive.
8. The bluntness of the corners for the rental of a hexagonal section should not exceed the values indicated in table. 2.
Table 2
Dimensions, mm
At the request of the consumer, blunting of corners should not exceed 1.0 mm for rolled products with an inscribed circle diameter of 15 - 20 mm inclusive, from 26 to 30 mm inclusive - no more than 1.5 mm, from 60 - 75 mm inclusive - no more than 2.5 mm.
9. The curvature of the rods of hexagonal rolled products should not exceed the values indicated in table. 3.
Table 3
Dimensions, mm
10. At the request of the consumer, the curvature of hexagonal bars should not exceed 0.2% of the length.
11. The curvature of rolled products is measured over a length of at least 1 m at a distance of at least 150 mm from the ends.
12. The twisting of hexagonal rolled products should not exceed the product of 4 deg /m by the profile length in meters, but not more than 24 deg with an inscribed circle diameter of up to 14 mm and over 14 mm up to 50 mm inclusive - 3 deg /m per profile length in meters, but not more than 18 degrees, over 50 mm - 3 degrees /m per profile length in meters, but not more than 15 degrees.
13. The dimensions of the rolled stock and the bluntness of the corners are measured at a distance of at least 150 mm from the end of the bar and at least 1.5 m from the end of the coil with a mass of up to 250 kg and at a distance of at least 3.0 m with a coil mass of over 250 kg.
