The World Steel Association has updated the rating of the largest steel companies
The World Steel Association (Worldsteel) has published an updated ranking of the world's largest steel producers, based on smelting volumes during 2022.
The newly created Chinese conglomerate China Baowu Group topped the ranking with liquid steel smelting steel in 131.84 million tons. ArcelorMittal, a British businessman of Indian origin, Lakshmi Mittal, took second place in the top leaders of world production with a result of 68.89 million tons. The third place belongs to the Chinese group of companies Ansteel Group (55.65 million tons).
The Japanese Nippon Steel Corporation is on the fourth line of the rating (44.37 million tons), the fifth is the Chinese steel group Shagang Group (41, 45 million tons).
The top ten steel companies are closed by HBIS Group (41 million tons), POSCO Holdings (38.64 million tons), Jianlong Group (36.56 million tons), Shougang Group (33, 82 million tons) and Tata Steel Group (30.18 million tons).
