As reported, this morning the government of Kazakhstan resigned amid massive protests in the republic. The corresponding decree was signed by the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
“Accept the resignation of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Temporarily assign the duties of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Smailov Alikhan Askhanovich. Members of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to continue to fulfill their duties until the approval of the new composition, ”the decree says.
