China's luxury car sales rise sharply

In the first 11 months of this year, sales of domestically produced luxury passenger cars rose 12.7% year-on-year to 3.51 million units, according to the China Automobile Industry Association.

In particular, , last month, 380,000 cars of the above category were sold in the country, up 18.2% year on year.

Despite the negative impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the luxury car market remained highly resilient , the association noted.

In addition, Chinese automakers are increasing their profits in the Russian market, as Western sanctions and the cessation of supplies of American and European brands caused an unprecedented increase in car prices. Today, Chinese brands account for almost a third of the Russian automotive market.
