Indian suppliers of hot-rolled steel to suspend the offer to China
As relations between China and India have become strained, a few major Indian steel plants have ceased to offer Chinese buyers the quotes of hot rolled coils.
Indian orders for exports of hot-rolled steel last week was small, and after that some major Indian producers of hot-rolled steel has also suspended their proposals. The main reason was that Chinese buyers were concerned about the politics of the goods in the ports of the two countries. Although the Indian government has not issued an official decree according to reports, the customs of the two countries have stepped up the inspection of imported and exported goods.
