Industry association predicts 8% growth in passenger car sales in China in 2021
At a recent symposium, Executive Secretary of the China Passenger Car Association Cui Dongshu predicted an 8 percent increase in passenger car sales from last year.
At the same time, the demand for commercial vehicles in the wholesale and retail markets is estimated at 4.4 million units, said Mo Yao, an expert of the above association.
China's total passenger car retail sales reached 19.29 million units in 2020, down 6.8% from 2019, according to previously released data.
