The March market for new passenger cars in the EU has grown significantly
According to ACEA, in March 2026, the market for new passenger cars in the EU grew by 12.5% year–on-year to 1158,317 units, Ukravtoprom reports.
Hybrid cars have covered 47.5% of the new car market and remain the favorite choice of consumers in the European Union.
At the same time, the combined market share of gasoline and diesel cars decreased to 30% from 37% in March 2025.
