Metinvest's European enterprises have been certified in credit management
Italian rolling mills of the Dutch mining and metallurgical holding Metinvest B.V. (Metinvest) of Ukrainian businessmen Rinat Akhmetov and Vadim Novinsky Ferriera Valsider and Metinvest Trametal, as well as the British plant Spartan UK, were the first in the Italian steel industry to be certified in credit management in accordance with Italian and international standards. This was reported in the press service of Metinvest.
Certification in 2021 was carried out by an independent audit company TUV Rheinland, whose certificates are recognized all over the world.
The credit management of these three companies is centrally managed by Metinvest Trametal, headquartered in Genoa. The credit management system includes managing the loan portfolio of more than 1,100 Metinvest Group clients in Europe.
The certification confirms compliance with the best world credit management practices at Metinvest's European plants.
Andrey Bondarenko, Financial Director of European Assets of Metinvest Group, commented: "Certification of credit management is a confirmation of the correctly chosen strategy for managing the credit portfolio of sales in Europe, and also emphasizes the professionalism of the team and the quality of digitalization of the function."
