European buyers are delaying orders for HRC steel, while the downward trend in prices continues
On Thursday, June 12, buyers continued to take a wait-and-see attitude in the European hot-rolled steel market amid expectations of a further downward correction in prices.
"Customers tend to rush to place orders when prices rise. There is no hurry in a falling market," a source at a trading company from Northern Europe told Fastmarkets.
