SULZLE Stahlpartner acquires WesterwaldStahl
On July 1, 2025, SULZLE Stahlpartner GmbH will join the reinforcement steel production division of WesterwaldStahl GmbH in Ransbach-Baumbach.
With this step, SULZLE Stahlpartner is expanding its presence in the Westerwald, the Rhineland and neighboring large cities in West Germany. Customers can count on a wide range of services and the usual support from a trusted local team. This acquisition strengthens SULZLE Stahlpartner's proximity to its customers and underscores its commitment to offering innovative and sustainable steel solutions to the construction industry throughout Germany.
Since 2014, WesterwaldStahl GmbH has had an eventful history, with several successful acquisitions and mergers. The Ransbach-Baumbach steel trading company, specializing in the production of construction and reinforcing steel, has gained an excellent reputation in the Westerwald region and beyond in recent years as a subsidiary of the SchwarzwaldEisen Group. After the takeover, the plant will remain an independent division under the auspices of SULZLE Stahlpartner and complement the German network of one of the leading suppliers of reinforcing steel and bending companies.

With the opening of its new office, SULZLE Stahlpartner has secured a direct presence in the heart of Germany.

This takeover will not affect the production of rolled metal products under the name WesterwaldStahl, which is part of SchwarzwaldEisen GmbH, and will continue as usual in Andernach, Ransbach-Baumbach and Altenkirchen, as well as in warehouses.
