Carl Brockmeyer will head the thyssenkrupp materials distribution and trading company.
Karl Brockmeyer will become executive director of the distribution and trading division at thyssenkrupp Materials Services on December 1, Kallanish company announced.
He will replace Detlef Schotten, who will retire from tk Materials Services in March 2026 after Brockmeyer worked at the company for more than 30 years, after which a transition period passed.
Brockmeyer has been working in international industrial companies for about 20 years and has extensive experience in strategic business development, as well as in the field of service and digitalization. He has held various positions at Oerlikon and Atlas Copco.
Ilse Henne, CEO of tk Material Services, emphasizes that Brockmeyer's contacts with various industries are important to the company. This, as well as "his many years of international experience, especially in North America, will help us continue our transformation from a distributor of clean materials to a service provider," she says.
