Crude steel production in Italy decreased by 2.8% in November 2025

According to the latest data released by the Italian Federation of Steel Companies Federacciai, steel production in Italy totaled 1.8 million tons in November this year, compared with 2.0 million tons in October, down 2.8% from the same period last year. In the period from January to November of this year, steel production in Italy increased by 2.5% year-on-year to 19.3 million tons.

As for long products, in November, monthly production amounted to 1.1 million tons, which is 7.2% more than last year, while the production of flat products amounted to 709,000 tons, a decrease of 5.2% year-on-year. The production of long products in Italy in the first eleven months amounted to 11.5 million tons, exceeding the volume for the same period last year by 4.7%, while the production of flat products in Italy increased by 3.8% year-on-year to 8.3 million tons.
