Turkey has introduced anti-dumping measures against imports of cold-rolled stainless steel from China
Turkey has made an important decision regarding the import of cold-rolled stainless steel sheet from China and Indonesia. As a result of the anti-dumping investigation conducted by the General Administration of Imports of the Ministry of Commerce, a fixed anti-dumping duty was imposed on imports from China. The decision was published in the Official Gazette today (December 27, 2025) and entered into force. The fixed anti-dumping duty is set at 3.95%. In the final notification published on December 13, 2025, it was determined that the anti-dumping margin on imports of cold-rolled flat stainless steel products from China ranges from 3.95% to 18%. However, with the new decision published on December 27, 2025, a fixed anti-dumping duty of 3.95% will be applied to all imports from China. The absence of an anti-dumping duty on imports from Indonesia, meanwhile, an investigation into imports from Indonesia did not reveal an anti-dumping margin. Based on an assessment by the Ministry of Commerce, it was decided that imports from Indonesia would not be subject to any anti-dumping duties. This allows unhindered continuation of imports, which, as it was determined, would not cause significant damage to Turkish producers. Implementation and duration of the new measure will enter into force on December 27, 2025. Cold-rolled stainless steel flat products imported to Turkey will be processed by the customs authorities at the new duty rate. The anti-dumping duties will be in effect for five years after their introduction. However, if a second investigation is initiated during this period, the application will be continued accordingly.
