EU marks expiration of anti-dumping duties GOES

The European Commission has published a notice on the imminent expiration of anti-dumping duties on imports of certain types of flat rolled organosilicon electrotechnical steel (GOES) from China, Japan, South Korea, Russia and the United States, Kallanish notes.

The current duties were introduced after the previous review of the validity period. If a review of the validity period is not requested and initiated, the measures will be terminated on January 18, 2027.

EU manufacturers can submit a review request no later than three months before the expiration date, that is, before October 18, 2026, if there is evidence that the cancellation of the measures is likely to lead to the continuation or resumption of dumping and damage.
