Wuppermann, who is engaged in galvanizing Stegra steels, appoints a finance director
Swedish startup Stegra, specializing in the production of environmentally friendly steel, has signed a long-term grant agreement with German manufacturer Wuppermann on galvanizing its steel products, Kallanish reports.
Wuppermann specializes in galvanizing steel and has five production sites throughout Europe. Stegra has entered into an agreement with its Dutch subsidiary Wuppermann Staal in the Netherlands.
According to Stegra, the galvanizing plant in the Netherlands has the lowest carbon dioxide emissions in Europe. "Together with Stegra, this is the beginning of a partnership across the entire value chain that sets new standards for the production of environmentally friendly steel," the Swedish company said in a statement.
Separately, the Wuppermann company announced a change of leadership. Ulrike Klaus will join the management Board on September 1 and replace Arndt Lassmann, who will leave the company due to retirement.
As CFO, Klaus will head all departments and areas of responsibility that Lassmann previously led. Klaus started her professional career in 2001 at Thyssenkrupp AG in Essen, and recently served as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Gedore Holding GmbH in Remscheid.
