Christine Lagarde said that the new office will achieve accelerated growth of the EU economy
President of the European Central Bank Christine Lagarde on Thursday announced a major revision of the tools and objectives of the ECB and said that the slowdown in the Eurozone will end soon, because it will bring your "own style" in the operation of the controller.
Speaking at a press conference in Frankfurt, Lagarde said the Bank will start evaluating "strategic course" next month and plans to complete her "to the end of 2020".

the Bank cut its growth forecast for the Eurozone in 2020 to 1.1 from 1.2 per cent, but said that in the next two years production will increase to 1.4 percent.
Meanwhile, according to forecasts, inflation will rise from 1.1 percent in 2020, to 1.6 percent in 2022, which will bring the ECB to the target level.
