British manufacturer JCB machinery reduces the production of coronavirus
British excavators manufacturer JCB to cut production and the number of shifts, since facing a shortage of components from China due to the outbreak of coronavirus. This is the first major British manufacturer, to warn of the impact of the epidemic on production.

More than 25% of JCB suppliers in China completely stopped the production of components, while others are working at reduced capacity.
"Violation of supply chain components in the UK comes at a time when the demand for products JCB is very strong," says operations Director mark Turner. "We are keeping the situation under review and expected rapid rise in production when this period of supply disruption is over."
This step would mean that the working week in Staffordshire, the company will be reduced from 49 to 34 hours. JCB said that work will still pay for 39 hours, but they will have to work extra hours later this year.
