Uralvagonzavod is interested in the metal products of the Alchevsk metkobinat
The Russian state concern Uralvagonzavod is negotiating the supply of steel from the Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works, said Manolis Pilavov, head of the Lugansk administration.
“Representatives of Uralvagonzavod were in Alchevsk at the metallurgical plant, and there are some agreements - this is a fact. What our Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works can offer Uralvagonzavod today is, of course, metal. And today, our signing of an agreement on sister cities between Lugansk and Nizhny Tagil is the second step after the leaders of Uralvagonzavod came and met with the leadership of our Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works. The movement has already begun and, in addition, we have several more areas in which we can cooperate, ”TASS quoted Pilavov as saying.
The mayor of Nizhny Tagil, Vladislav Pinaev, who is on a business trip in Donbass, added that the concern's delegation will work in Lugansk on Wednesday.
“I will definitely invite all heads of enterprises to the nearest board of directors. Let's sit, think and even more closely exchange the industrial potential that exists today, and the types of products that are currently produced in the Luhansk People's Republic," Pinaev said.
Uralvagonzavod is located in Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk Region, Russian Federation. The enterprise is one of the largest machine-building complexes in Russia, a manufacturer of armored vehicles and rolling stock.
