Metallurgists of Ukraine exported 1.23 million tons of rolled metal in 4 months
In January-April, Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises exported 1.23 million tons of rolled metal, which is 62.3% of the total production volume for this period of 1.98 million tons. Such data is provided by the association of enterprises "Ukrmetallurgprom".
The volume of Ukrainian steel exports fell by 6.4% compared to the same period in 2024. In January-April of last year, 1.32 million tons of rolled products were shipped outside the country, or 66.8% of the total production of 1.97 million tons.
The share of semi-finished products in exports for 4 months of the year is 36%, which is significantly lower than the January-April 2024 figure of 45.4%. The share of flat rolled products is 44.9% (40.3% in 4 months of 2024), and long rolled products is 19% (14.2% in 2024).
The main export markets of Ukrainian rolled metal for 4 months of the year are the countries of the European Union (79.7%), other Europe (10.2%) and the CIS (6.8%).
