Ukrzaliznytsia sells 12 thousand tons of scrap metal through Prozorro
Ukrzaliznytsya JSC (uz) has set up "Prozorro.
Sales" 27 of the 30 scrap metal lots planned for sale with a total value of UAH 77.12 million.
The size of the lots offered for sale ranges from 130 to 700 tons, in total UZ plans to sell 12 thousand tons of scrap metal in thirty lots, the company's press service reported on Friday.
The auction will be held on May 26. For all lots, it will be held in three rounds in the English format (to increase the price).
Scrap metal is found in the Kiev, Kharkiv, Lviv, Poltava, Odessa and Chernihiv regions. A single cost of loading into a railway carriage has been set for all shipments - 1344.5 UAH/ton (including VAT), UZ reported.
"It is fundamentally important for us that the bidding takes place with maximum competition, involvement of participants and results. For our part, we have completed preparatory work, in particular, we switched to the updated DSTU, reduced the number of shipping points and the like," UZ quotes a member of the Board (Repair and Production direction) Evgenia Shramko is the company's press service.
