<i></i><b>Interpipe has moved production and logistics online</b>
The Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has launched a digital platform that allows customers to track the production and delivery of their products in real time. This is stated in the Forbes article.
In particular, thanks to the personal account, users can see not only the remaining products in warehouses, but also plan deliveries in a controlled manner, view documents online and monitor the Order status.
"This is a key tool for the European market," explains Ivan Mazanka, Director of Pipe Sales in Europe. - Over the past few years, we have become the largest importer of seamless linear hot-rolled pipes to the EU market and now have 270 active customers. It is extremely important for each of them to know the exact time of arrival of the car in order to book a place in the warehouse in advance."
The GPS tracking system allows you to track the cargo route from the factory to the Interpipe customer's warehouse.
"Even being hundreds of kilometers away from the factory, the customer gets full control over his logistics. Just by sitting at the computer, he sees when the car or ship with his products will arrive at the warehouse – we can predict the delivery time to within hours," said Alexander Novikov, project manager.
The online platform also allows you to monitor production in real time.
"Ordering pipes or wheels is much more difficult than just buying something in an online store. However, we have made this process easy and transparent for the client," said Sergey Saevich, IT Director at Interpipe.
