In Donetsk region, 2 mines were disconnected from the power supply
The head of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine, Mykhailo Volynets, said that two mines of the SE "Selidovugol" - "Kotlyarevskaya" and "Ukraine" were disconnected from the electricity supply for debts.
“This is just disgusting and the power cut occurs at a time when there is not enough coal in the warehouses of thermal power plants. How then will we go through the autumn-winter period? At the same time, there are funds for the import of coal from abroad and the supply of electricity from Russia ", - wrote M. Volynets on your Facebook page .
He also said that he informed the First Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection Vitaly Shubin about what was happening.
“I informed him about the situation with the power outage at the mines of SE“ Selidovugol ”. The First Deputy Minister promised to immediately take all measures to resolve the issue of resuming electricity supplies to the Kotlyarevskaya and Ukraina mines.
On Thursday, the government of Ukraine registered the bill No. 2283 dated 10/17/2019 on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2019 ", providing for the financing of the payment of wages to miners, as well as preventing mines from disconnecting from the electricity supply.
