Ferrexpo announced the appointment of a new Treasurer
the Board of Directors of the Swiss iron ore company Ferrexpo has announced that it has appointed Mr. Roman Palyvoda acting Finance Director with immediate effect.
Mr. Palyvoda, a Ukrainian citizen, joined Ferrexpo in September 2008 as an accountant. Previously, Mr. Palyvoda worked in Renault Group more than 5 years, and recently worked as a financial controller in Russia, Ukraine and CIS countries. Mr. Palyvoda laude, studied international relations in the field of Finance at the National University of Lviv and business management at the Institute of political studies of Paris.
Chris Maeve, acting Director-General after the withdrawal of Constantine Zhevago, reported that he was glad that Roman agreed to take on this role, which is quite natural, given his extensive financial experience to the group and its role in the financial team.
Considering the temporary nature of the appointment, Mr. Palyvoda will not be included in the composition of the Board of Directors of Ferrexpo plc, said in a statement.
Earlier it was reported that the Ferrexpo Board has appointed Mr. Chris Mawe acting General Director of the group after Konstantin Zhevago temporarily stepped aside to focus on particular issues in Ukraine.
