Collectible emerald weighing approximately 0.5 kg was found on Europe's only Deposit of emeralds "the Mariinsky mine" (part of state Corporation rostec). Its cost is estimated in 55 thousand dollars, reports the press service of the Mariinsky mine.

Experts say that the gem is extremely rare and unique. In color it is in the first category, the grade - to the second.

Emerald mined working stope at a depth of 260 meters. Now at the enterprise the question about their bonuses - traditionally, monetary compensation is awarded after the sale finds.

Mariinsky mine is one of three deposits of emeralds in the world and only in Russia. Over the past year are found three high-quality stone weighing from 80 to 264 grams, and price from 8.8 to 29.1 thousand dollars.

Emerald - beryl variety (it is, incidentally, also mined at the mine) which, in turn, is used in high-tech industries.

As noted by the Minister of industry and science of Sverdlovsk region Sergey Perestoronin, the strategy of the mine life to 2025 implies an increase in the extraction of ore, which means we can expect new unique finds.
