Metinvest will pay 270 million UAH for the modernization of roasting machine at Northern GOK
In the workshop production of pellets No. 1 Northern iron ore enrichment works of Metinvest group improved equipment roasting machines. To update the production capacity, the company has invested about 270 million.
According to the General Director of Northern GOK Andrey Skachkov, the company also plans to replace three of the precipitator on kiln machine LURGI 552 A. For these purposes will be additionally sent to over 340 million.
Modernization of roasting machines LURGI 278 A and OK 306 is performed in the framework of the investment program to bring the process on different machines to the same standard and improve the quality of pellets.
the Project started in 2018 in several stages, with replacement plots of cytopathology, pelletizing and screening, installation of video surveillance systems for the operation of the equipment.
currently, the shop specialists are working on software for automatic regulation of moisture in the charge and speed of rotation Kasevich pelletizer. The improvement of these processes will allow you to get the maximum amount of the pellet of the required size – from 10 to 14 mm. equipment Modernization of production plant pellets No. 1 is planned to complete by the end of the year.
