Modern technologies in gas production: DTEK oil & gas will hold a large-scale green seismic
DTEK Neftegaz in 2020 will hold a large-scale seismic testing of modern "green" technologies with registration data in real time. This kind of research will be conducted at one of the company's assets.
Wireless technology "green seismic" is the most innovative and environmentally friendly method of seismic prospecting. Its peculiarity lies in the fact that for the coupling of seismic receivers is used not cable, and wireless systems, for the installation of sensors does not require special heavy equipment.
using the wireless technology allows you to effectively carry out work in conditions of complex landscape in tight places where it was previously impossible to do. It also gives the opportunity to reduce the time of works and to minimize any possible impact on the environment. The record of seismic data in real time allows you to assess the quality of data that is logged during execution of works. This substantially increases the quality of the obtained geophysical information due to their proximity to towns and presence of noise.
Cableless seismic survey will be the first project implemented within the Oil and gas technology hub (Technohub), the creation of which was announced DTEK Naftogaz to consolidate the efforts and challenges of the companies of the gas industry. After successful testing, the decision will be submitted to the Bank Technohub technologies that will optimize and replicate the "green seismic" in a systematic manner among the participants of this organization.
"green cable-less seismic survey will improve the accuracy of geological projections, to accelerate the preparation of new areas for drilling and to make gas production more efficient and environmentally friendly", – said the head of the Technology centre of DTEK Neftegaz Maxim Dorokhov.
CEO of DTEK Neftegaz Igor schurov said: "In a crisis on the oil market is extremely important to implement modern technologies that will allow to increase efficiency of gas production and thereby ensure the further development of the gas industry. To achieve this, DTEK Neftegaz initiated the creation of Oil and gas technology hub, whose goal will be to find and attract innovative solutions in Ukraine. The "green" seismic survey will be the first major project in the framework of Technohub and its successful realization will allow to replicate the technology on the entire industry and to introduce new approaches in geological exploration in Ukraine".
