Sandvik showcased new equipment at Coal of Russia and Mining 2019

The new Sandvik LS312 multifunctional underground loader with a lifting capacity of 12 t was first presented to a wide audience at the 26th international specialized exhibition "Coal of Russia and Mining 2019" in Novokuznetsk. Based on the well-proven LS190s, the model is equipped with a PLC electronic control system and a new 162 kW CAT C7.1 motor.

One of the key advantages of Sandvik LS312 is the wide range of attachments that can be installed quickly when needed. The machine can be equipped with buckets of various sizes, cable winders, belts or main conveyor chains. In addition, options include various containers for transporting cement, oil or diesel fuel, platforms for lifting people or installing rock bolts, as well as trailers for transporting longwall support sections weighing up to 50 tons.

All key manipulations, whether it is loading or unloading a rock mass, take no more than 7 seconds, and the maximum speed of movement in 4th gear is 25.5 km /h. The operator's cab is ROPS /FOPS certified, equipped with an emergency exit and safety handrails and ladder. LS312 offers automatic joint lubrication, CCTV, dual headlights, methane gas control, automatic fire suppression and more as options.

Also on display at the Sandvik booth was the new Leopard DI650i drill for large open pit and open pit mining. It is equipped with a powerful engine and efficient compressor, as well as an ergonomic iCAB cab. The machine is characterized by ease of maintenance, mobility, economy and a variety of automation packages. It is equipped with the latest TIM3D wireless navigation system and a full cycle automatic drilling system. The rig can be connected to the My Sandvik portal, which receives all the data on the equipment operation.
