Krivoy Rog iron ore plant bought a powerful loader for the Gvardeyskaya mine
Kryvyi Rih Iron Ore Combine said that it is undergoing a course of technical re-equipment, because it is the new self-propelled equipment that can increase labor productivity, facilitate the work of a miner and guarantee safety at work. According to the investment program, Epiroc ST2D loaders are supplied to all mines of the enterprise, which are characterized by reliability and uninterrupted operation. The bucket has a lifting capacity of 3.6 tonnes.
One of the first mines that received new equipment - "Guards". Before it starts to work on underground horizons, it was inspected by the workers of the site No. 55 (for maintenance of imported equipment) together with a representative of the Epiroc company.
The head of the fifty-fifth section, Anatoly Makoid, claims that the Epiroc ST2D loader, which arrived at the mine, is fully suitable for rifling and mining operations (PDU). Since the equipment at Gvardeiskaya is already outdated, the entire fleet of self-propelled vehicles is being updated.
The loader will operate in difficult conditions, because it will transport the rock mass with an inclined ramp to the horizon of 1350-1380 meters. Before the loader is lowered to the underground horizons, the miners (they recently took a theoretical course at the UKTs for the right to operate ST2D) train on it to load and unload rock mass on dumps.
