The window of opportunity is open - State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine

In December 2019, the State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine (Gosgeonedra) presented the "Investment Atlas of a Subsoil User", which collected information on the sites and deposits that the state is ready to offer investors for development.

At the beginning of 2021, the atlas contained information on 220 sites and deposits. Each site is a lot that is prepared for an electronic auction. In particular, the list includes 22 areas with reserves of hydrocarbons (oil, gas, condensate), seven areas with titanium ores, and three areas with gold metals.

Gosgeonedra noted a paradoxical situation in the mining and metallurgical industry of Ukraine, which, possessing huge reserves of manganese ores, according to estimates - 17% of the world's reserves, still imports this metal.

The atlas of the subsoil user also includes two lithium objects: the Shevchenkovo deposit and the Krutaya Balka site. Lithium is used in the manufacture of batteries for smartphones, laptops, and electric cars.

Ukraine has the largest proven reserves of this metal in Europe. For example, the volume of explored reserves of the Shevchenkovo deposit is 5.6 million tons of C1 category lithium ore and 8 million tons of C2 category lithium ore. The demand for metal in the world is growing every year, but lithium is still not mined in Ukraine.

It is simple to take part in the auction: you need to register on an electronic platform accredited by Prozorro.Prodazh and make a guarantee deposit. Site specialists will help in all procedural matters. The winner of the auction will only have to sign an agreement with the State Geo-Mineral Resources Agency.

It is possible to extract hydrocarbons, metallic minerals (chromium, nickel, zirconium, manganese and titanium ores, gold, lithium), non-metallic minerals (clays, sandstones, limestones, granite), mineral waters, combustible solid minerals ( peat, coal), amber.
