The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) has announced the winner of the annual TMK Quality Leader corporate competition for 2025, which was held among 11 companies of the company. It became the Seversky Pipe Plant (STZ), which demonstrated the best results by all criteria.
The assessment was based on several key indicators: the maturity of management systems, the results of the "Day without Defects" campaign, the fulfillment of production plans, the level of customer satisfaction, and the results of the "Games of Masters" professional championship. The award was presented to Dmitry Markov, Managing Director of STZ, by Vyacheslav Gagarin, TMK's Deputy General Director for Quality.
"The requirements of TMK's partners, including large oil companies and machine-building corporations, are constantly growing and becoming more complex, so today it is no longer enough to simply produce products without defects. The technological process must meet high standards at every stage of production. The annual Quality Leader competition supports healthy competition and motivates our enterprises to develop and adapt the best industry practices on their site," said Vyacheslav Gagarinov.
"The victory of STZ was the result of the comprehensive work of all departments and services of the plant. The title of "Quality Leader" sets us a high standard, which we intend to adhere to in the future, meeting the strictest requirements of our partners," said Dmitry Markov.
The annual TMK Quality Leader corporate competition is being held for the fourth time. STZ has already won it in 2023, and in 2022 and 2024, another TMK branch, Volzhsky Pipe Plant (VTZ), received the award.
