Several EU steel quotas are close to being exhausted during the first 15 days of the new quota period.
During the first 15 days of the new EU quota period from July 1 to September 30, some quotas for imports of certain types of steel products allocated to China and "other countries" were exceeded, while more than 70 percent of quotas for certain types of steel products were abolished. Have been spent, according to the European Commission.
