According to Fastmarkets, domestic long products prices in Poland remained mostly unchanged in the week to Friday, August 21, as the market remained calm after the recent seasonal downturn in the summer months.

At the same time, rebar prices in the domestic market remained stable.
"Nothing has changed recently, the demand for fittings is very low, and we do not expect any additional activity until September," another Polish source said.
Mills offered 2650 zlotys per tonne of CPT, while estimates of market levels were fixed at around 2650-2680 zlotys per tonne excluding VAT.
The weekly price estimate for rebar steel produced in Poland was 2650-2680 zlotys per ton on Friday, unchanged from week to week.
