Air Astana plans to buy 30 Boeing 737
the Kazakh airline "air Astana" announced at the air show in Dubai that would like to have 30 aircraft Boeing 737 for its recently-launched budget airlines Fly Arystana.
so far only signed a letter of intent without binding agreements.
the operation of the Boeing 737 MAX was suspended after two plane crashes: one liner in October 2018 crashed in Indonesia (died 189), and the other in March of the same year in Ethiopia (killed 157 people).
After that, many countries, including Russia, the US and the EU have suspended operation of aircraft of this series because of security reasons.
as a result, the Boeing 737 went down with the first lines of the rating of the most sold planes in the world, and his place was taken by A320, manufactured by Airbus consortium.
However, Boeing may announce multiple sales of the 737 model at the ongoing air show. On Monday, Turkish airline SunExpress has announced that intends to use the option to purchase 10 pieces 737.
