The world's largest producer of pipes for the energy sector Tenaris leaves Russia
One of the world's largest manufacturers of pipes for the energy sector, in particular drilling and casing pipes for oil and gas production, Tenaris has suspended all sales and purchases in Russia. This is stated in company announcement dated April 13, 2022.
The company has also decided to terminate its investment in the Russian joint venture with Severstal. In its activities in Europe, Tenaris provides medical supplies to Ukrainian pediatric clinics in partnership with the Francesca Rava Foundation.
“On February 24, 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine. Tenaris has suspended all sales and purchases in Russia. It also decided to write off its investment in the Russian joint venture with Severstal. As part of its operations in Europe, the company supplies medicines to Ukrainian children's hospitals in partnership with the Francesca Rava Foundation.
