Only four Russian plants continue to produce cars
The Russian analytical agency Avtostat said that the vast majority of Russian car factories are idle due to a shortage of components due to the disruption of supply chains as a result of the war in Ukraine.
The production of passenger cars in Russia is currently carried out only at four plants - the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant, Haval Motor Rus, Mazda Sollers and Avtotor.
In addition, in the first half of May, UAZ announced a corporate vacation for six working days, so the company's activities will be stopped for two weeks, taking into account the May holidays.
AvtoVAZ, which had previously postponed a two-week corporate vacation from summer to April, is expected to resume production after April 24.
