Developers from all over Russia will compete in solving real industrial problems on ProHack 4.0

CROC has opened a collection of tasks for the All-Russian industrial hackathon ProHack 4.0. Any industrial company interested in improving the efficiency and safety of production processes can become the author of the problem. In the final of the competition, IT teams with the participation of leading industry experts and IT manufacturers will test hypotheses and offer conceptual solutions to real business cases using the Internet of Things, video analytics, artificial intelligence, blockchain, drones and other industry 4.0 technologies in 36 hours. Acceptance of tasks from the industrial sector will last until September 30, applications from teams - from September 16 to October 25.

Sibur, UralChem, PhosAgro, Gazpromneft and the Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences have already joined the hackathon. The participation of a number of other energy, metallurgical, petrochemical, machine-building and other industrial enterprises is being discussed. Among the stated tasks is control over the availability of personal protective equipment using video analytics. Blockchain-related tasks can be solved using the Exonum blockchain framework from Bitfury. Citrix has also joined the technical partners.

“Industrial companies often come to CROC with non-standard software development tasks, where several ideas need to be tested to find an optimal solution,” says Sergey Strelkov, Director of Software Development at CROC IT company. - To solve such problems, CROC already has an ecosystem, which includes specialists from various technological practices and CROC development groups, proven partners and vendors with their best tools. As part of the hackathon, we scale this experience so that after two days of active work, our industrial customers receive viable solutions to problems, as well as insights for future projects. ”

CROC has been developing competences in Industry 4.0 technologies for more than 5 years and has many years of experience in solving problems of the largest industrial companies in the country, for example, Rosatom and Rosenergoatom, Mosenergo, RusHydro, Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant, Severstal.
