The United States will increase duties on more than 100 types of metals, minerals and chemicals from Russia
A White House report on Friday notes that US President Joe Biden will sign an executive order to increase customs duties on imports of more than 100 metals, minerals and a number of chemical products from Russia for a total of $2.8 billion.
Previously, the Wall Street Journal wrote that the new US sanctions will affect 200 individuals and legal entities from Russia. According to preliminary information, governors of some Russian regions and members of their families, as well as companies of the military-industrial complex from the Russian Federation, may fall under US restrictions.
