The foundry and pressing plant will be located in the Armavir Industrial Park, Alexander Simakov, General Director of the Armavir Metallurgical Company, said in an interview with RBC TV South.

"The timing now strongly depends on the timing of the commissioning of the technopark itself. It's also a complicated story there, and it's necessary to bring all communications together. The Krasnodar Territory Development Corporation is actively working with this. The planned launch dates for both the technopark and the foundry and pressing plant in Armavir are 2028."

According to him, today there are no presses in the country that are capable of producing the largest components of the first Russian high—speed model, the housings, they are made in China. The aluminum products that the plant will produce will contribute to the import substitution of products needed for architectural glazing, the production of Lastochka electric trains, high-speed trucks and electric vehicles.
