Among the unique characteristics of the new Ural Steel product are hardness 360-430 HB, flatness no more than 6 mm/m, narrowness class 1 according to GOST 22727.
Novotroitsk metallurgists produce rolled steel sheets with a thickness of 16-50 mm, a width of 1500-2000 mm, and a length of 4500-12000 mm.
Premium products are focused on the needs of machine builders in high-strength rolled products for the manufacture of dump truck bodies, excavator bucket parts and other attachments for large mining machinery.
The new steel will improve the operational characteristics of the equipment, increase the inter-repair period, increasing the KTG (equipment availability coefficient).
The new high–strength steel line also includes "WeldUS 690", where weld is welding, US is Ural Steel, 690 is the minimum yield strength in MPa.
Consumers have already appreciated the optimal price-quality ratio of unique steel grades of Ural Steel. When developing new steel grades, Novotroitsk metallurgists took into account the accumulated many years of experience in the production of "high-strength steel", as well as the capabilities of powerful and unique quenching equipment in the sheet-rolling workshop.
