The total investment in the Magnitogorsk Rolling Mill project (part of MMK) amounts to 17.8 billion rubles, including state support from the Industrial Development Fund.

Magnitogorsk GIPROMEZ acted as the general designer of the works, and the general contractor was the rental company. The number of staff with the introduction of the new workshop will increase by 415 people.

As part of the second stage of the project, in July 2026, it is planned to launch equipment for the manufacture of supporting steel rolls for hot rolling mills (a ladle furnace unit, cap thermal furnaces, a differentiated heat treatment unit, and machining machines).

With the launch of the new production, the total capacity of the MZPV will increase to 33 thousand tons of products per year, and the company's share in the Russian cast rolls market will increase from 38% to 60%.

Modern foundry, molding, thermal equipment, as well as equipment for the mechanical processing of finished products will be used in the CSV.
