Steel ropes for shipbuilding of Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant have received quality confirmation

Passing the inspection allows BMK to produce and supply galvanized steel ropes of various diameters and designs to shipbuilding enterprises. Ropes are used as tow, mooring and anchor cables on ships, used in rigging devices for lifting and moving cargo. Due to the zinc coating, the ropes effectively resist corrosion in aggressive environments.

As part of the inspection, a representative of the maritime Register visited the rope workshops and the control testing department, was present during the direct testing of rope samples, and also checked the documentation along the entire production chain. The results confirmed that the BMK ropes meet the requirements and can be used on marine vessels.

Consumers from a wide variety of industries appreciated the steel ropes of our production – these products are traditionally used in the most demanding and complex projects, said Violetta Nashatyrova, CEO of BMK.

"Their strength, durability and reliability are the key to the successful operation of ships and offshore platforms, where safety and accuracy are critically important. We continue to invest in the development and modernization of production to ensure that our products meet the highest standards and requirements of customers."

BMK has been confirming its product manufacturer status annually for more than 15 years.
