High performance characteristics are achieved due to the specially developed chemical composition of steel and the special internal microstructure of each product, the specialized publication "Metal Supply and Sales" writes.
Taking into account the growing market, EVRAZ intends to create lines for stamping high-strength balls and producing cast balls with a chromium content of up to 25%. They will produce high-quality balls of the fifth hardness group and above. Customers will have access to stamped and high-chromium cast balls, as well as additional volumes of balls made by cross-screw rolling.
EVRAZ supplies steel grinding balls to almost all major processing plants in Russia, occupying a leading position in this segment, said Dmitry Barashkov, Sales Director of the EVRAZ TC industrial range.
"We cooperate with enterprises of the CIS countries and explore new markets. The company plans to expand its product range and increase production by 200-250 thousand tons of balloons per year in connection with the construction of new facilities at EVRAZ NTMK and EVRAZ ZSMK."Today, EVRAZ successfully fulfills orders for balls for ferrous metallurgy enterprises and develops specialized solutions for the enrichment of non-ferrous and precious metals. The company is developing its own research center to improve products and pays special attention to the service area. Thus, EVRAZ is ready to provide expert services to industrial enterprises, helping to select balls of optimal size and grade of steel, depending on the customer's tasks.
