EVRAZ ZSMK supplied 28 thousand tons of rails for the Moscow —Saint Petersburg high-speed railway
This is almost a fifth of the volume of EVRAZ's contract with Russian Railways. In total, the plant will produce 161 thousand tons of DT350VS400 rails in 2025-2027, fully securing the main railway tracks of the new highway.

The DT350VC400 rails are an exclusive product developed by EVRAZ in partnership with Russian Railways for HSR projects. These are rails with the highest profile accuracy and straightness requirements, surpassing their global counterparts.
They are distinguished by their increased impact strength at temperatures of minus 60 degrees, which ensures reliability and safety when trains travel at speeds up to 400 km/h. The rails are certified for compliance with the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union "On the safety of high-speed rail transport".
