The achieved indicator exceeds the previous maximum by more than 50%. This became possible due to the systematic work of the plant to improve the efficiency of technological processes related to the production of galvanized ropes.

The production of high-carbon wire and ropes (HPC), where the record is set, is unique for the company. They produce a wide range of high-quality products: from galvanized high-carbon and spring wire to reinforcement and steel ropes. Over the past five years, PPK has produced over 83 thousand tons of steel ropes, of which more than 3.5 thousand tons were galvanized ropes.

The achieved result in the production of galvanized ropes is an indicator of tremendous teamwork and evidence of the enormous potential of our team of almost 500 people, said Rustam Basareev, head of the PPK.

"Overcoming the thousand—ton limit was a task that required maximum dedication from everyone. This strengthens MMK-METIZ's position as one of the industry leaders."

Magnitogorsk Hardware and Calibration Plant MMK-Metiz is one of the largest Russian hardware industry enterprises. The plant's products are used in key sectors of the economy: mining, metallurgy, construction, shipbuilding, and industrial fishing.
