The products are manufactured on a powerful basket-type rope-cutting machine. The rope is based on a six–row structure with an organic core made of hemp, which gives it additional flexibility and resistance to loads. Such ropes are mainly used on large mining excavators.
The length of the first batch of 72-millimeter rope was about 400 meters. In one production cycle, the machine can produce up to 900 meters of such products. The production process is highly automated: two people are enough to maintain the machine.
MMK-Metiz's high-carbon wire and rope products are used in a wide range of industries. A significant part goes to the oil and gas sector as hoists for drilling rigs. Ropes are also used in metallurgy, on crane equipment.
