Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant has received certificates of approval for welding wire for shipbuilding
"BMK" (part of the "Mechel" Group) received a certificate of recognition of the manufacturer of welding materials and certificates of approval for welding wire from the Branch Certification Center for Welding Materials at the SIC "Kurchatov Institute" - Central Research Institute of KM"Prometheus" (Saint Petersburg).

Welding wire made of four grades of steel was tested. These products are in demand in shipbuilding and ship repair. It is used for welding in protective gases, as well as for the manufacture of electrodes.
Experts from the Industry Certification Center conducted a comprehensive inspection of BMK's production: they visited the rolling mill, the alloy wire workshop, visited the control testing and metrology departments, analyzed the documentation and assessed the qualifications of the staff. Then, in our own certification laboratory, we checked the welding and technological properties of the wire, as well as the quality of the weld. The results confirmed that the BMK welding wire meets the requirements and can be used in the shipbuilding industry.
