This is due to the economic inexpediency of further operation of the facilities.

The TASS Pipe Metallurgical Company explained that the workshop is equipped with pre-war equipment, which is significantly inferior in efficiency to modern pipe-rolling units. Given the current dynamics of demand for pipe products in the country, it has become unprofitable to continue its operation.
"Nevertheless, the equipment of the workshop will be maintained in working condition, the workshop will remain connected to electricity and water supply, and at any moment, if the economic situation improves, it will be able to return to operation," the press service stressed.The company emphasized that the issue of employment of the released employees is already being worked out. It is planned to involve the workshop staff in other departments of the PNTZ or at the enterprises of the city. "This issue is being resolved in close contact with the city and regional authorities," the company added.
