Magmetallpack has mastered new technologies for protecting MMK products
The plant (part of the MMK Group) specializes in the manufacture of packaging accessories and professional packaging of Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works products, ensuring the safety of the consumer properties of rolled metal during transportation and storage.

The company is actively implementing new protection technologies for MMK products. In sheet-rolling workshops No. 4 and No. 8, as well as in the northern block of coated metal production, all-metal covers are used to protect the rolled products from precipitation.
Protective covers are used for cold-rolled rolls shipped to open transport and to the MMK Trading House. In addition, the metal sheet (decapier) in the package was replaced with a textured polymer sheet 3.5 mm thick, which reduced costs and increased the protection of the metal from damage.
This year, Magmetallpack plans to increase the annual production of perforated protective corners (shells) for steel coils at its own facilities to 360 thousand pieces per year.
