Bogoslovsky Aluminum Plant has launched a new leaching machine
Comprehensive modernization continues at the Bogoslovsky Aluminum Plant (Sverdlovsk region, Krasnoturinsk). The first of the new devices of the site was put into operation "Leaching-4" leaching and evaporation workshops.

After the completion of the entire project at the fourth site, the annual economic effect will exceed 350 million rubles, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The purpose of leaching in alumina production is to extract aluminum oxide from bauxite, while the impurities remain in the solid residue in the form of red sludge.
After the modernization of the leaching site-4 is completed, its capacity will increase by 10,000 tons per year, the consumption of bauxite and caustic soda will be reduced, and the annual economic effect will exceed 350 million rubles in 2026 prices.
"Updating the technical base of enterprises is an ongoing process in which RUSAL invests huge financial resources. But without a team of professionals who work at our base, it is difficult to imagine that this update would take place at such a pace and with such excellent results. Our metallurgists are well aware that the foundation of production is continuous modernization, and they are confidently coping with the development of this principle," says Vladislav Kazachkov, director of the base.
